2016 Exam Results
The Ramsey Academy are delighted to celebrate record breaking GCSE results.
Building on the success and continued improvement of the last few years, 59% of students achieved 5 A*- C GCSEs including English and Maths, an increase of 11% from 2015.
Particular improvements occurred in the English, Maths and Science subjects.
In terms of one of the new key measures; 63% of students achieved A*- C in English and Maths.
The new progress measure, Progress 8, which includes English, Maths, Science plus 5 other subjects is +0.1. This shows that students have made more than expected progress from their starting points in a wide range of subjects since joining the school.
Particular mention should go to Lewis Crow (6A*, 2A, 1B), Emma Gooden (3A*, 3A, 2B), Sam Hawes (3A*, 5A, 1B), Callum Turner (3A*, 5A, 1B), Lewis Brennan (1A*, 8A) and Lottie Wheeler (6A, 2B).

“We are delighted the hard work of the students has produced excellent results which will allow them to progress to the next stage of their education or employment. On behalf of the students I would like to thank the staff and parents for their support.
The results show that as a school we provide an all-round education, with a range of opportunities for all students, whatever their ability level and will contribute to our aim of being an outstanding school in heart of community.
