In May, ex Ramsey student, and local butcher Andrew Callaghan, generously gave his time to show year 10 Food preparation and Nutrition students, how to de-bone and fillet chicken.
Meat preparation is a skill required for the GCSE practical exams which for these students, will be in less than a year. The students will be cooking their cuts of meat into some various dishes such as Chicken Kiev, curry, sweet & sour chicken and mincing some of the meat to make chicken burgers
