I really enjoyed it when the Colchester Institute came into my textiles lesson a couple of weeks ago. The tutor, Sarah, showed us easy ways to create weird and wonderful clothing out of paper.
Firstly they gave us three pieces of paper and asked us to fold them in different ways. We then stuck them onto pictures of models making a few adjustments to make them look like clothes. The best part was when we got into groups of three and had to make a dress by pinning, folding and manipulating paper onto a mannequin.
I really enjoyed this and it has made me want to look more into the textiles courses at different colleges. - Charlotte Sweeney (Year 10)
