Greenfields Community Housing held an Art competition to source work to display in one of the transformed older persons’ schemes in Halstead. The artwork had to reflect an aspect of Halstead, such as a street scene or landscape. Students could use any media they wished to showcase their skills effectively. Students produced a wide range of quality responses.

First place went to Shona Morrison-Kemp who won an iPad mini. Runners up, Caroline Mathews and Bethany Wheeler, won Amazon vouchers. The winning students received a framed copy of their artwork. You can see the original artworks on display in Symonds Court. Every student that entered the competition received a box of chocolates.
