On Tuesday 18^th April, a group of Year 11 and 10 students joined Mr Dare, Mrs Howkins and Mrs Barnes at the Mercury Theatre to watch a new production of Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’.

The production was phenomenal; drawing on stylistic elements from Akira Kurosawa, Neil Gaiman, and Guy Ritchie to provide a visually stunning, and emotive adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy.

The students were also lucky enough to have a Q&A session with the Actors and Director after the performance, whereby they gained an invaluable insight into their authorial intent.

They were a credit to the school!
