Pupils and staff at Ramsey Academy Halstead were invited to take part in a technology challenge to produce a sculpture or mobile from three paper plates and ten drinking straws.

A range of entries were received, from chairs to animals to the more abstract. The overall
aim of the challenge was to encourage our students to explore how innovative and creative they could be with everyday objects.
