Science club was an enjoyable experience, as helping out the primary school children was always a pleasure. While they liked to have fun and talk to each other, they were always well behaved when it came to explaining what they had to do, and they actively showed an interest in learning about Science, doing experiments and working in groups.
I joined Science club when I was in Year 10 as it seemed to be an interesting club to help out with.
Some of the topics they covered included: making bath bombs, racing marbles run and we spent a lesson pretending to be Harry Potter. They also investigated how diseases spread and how diabetes can be tested.
They investigated how different concentrations of acid effected how fast a cross disappears and they also investigated streamlining by making parachutes.
