Firstly, we are delighted to announce the launch of a new initiative, a joint collaboration with The Black Farmer to provide diversity in the food and farming sector. 

Our ‘New Faces for Farming’ Residential School will take place on the evening of 31^st March until 2^nd April  and is a fully expensed, residential camp for young people aged 16-18 who reside in the UK and who are in Year 12 or 13 (or FE Y1 & Y2) and interested in a career in farming, but perhaps not from a traditional agricultural background.

New Faces for Farming will be held at our countryside campus, near Chelmsford in Essex and will offer teenagers a taste of farm life and provide opportunities to think about a career in this sector. More details and the application form can be found here. Students are highly advised to apply early to be in with a chance of securing a space. Please can you promote this to your students as widely as possible to encourage participation.
