GCSE PE students in Year 11 were recently asked to make a 3D image of the respiratory system for their homework, following on from theory work they had done in the lesson. Students were allowed to work on their own or in pairs, they could use any material that they thought was appropriate and had ten days to complete the project.
This really captured the imagination of the students and many spent hours producing high quality designs using a wide range of different materials such as Plaster of Paris, clay, straws, cotton wool, pipe cleaners, balloons, spare ribs (once eaten!), broccoli and even cake! Well done to all those who rose to the challenge!
