A massive congratulations and thank you to all the students who helped make the 2013 Open Evening a resounding success. Well over 100 students helped parents and their Year 5/6 students to get to know the Academy and find out about our school and the improvements we have made.

Visitors had opportunities to make and bake in the Technology Faculty, watch and try sports in the Expressive Arts Faculty, compete in mathematical treasure hunts, watch scenes from Macbeth in English, take part in a vast variety of experiments in Science and the Global Faculty had students making medieval crafts.

It was so pleasing to see well over 400 visitors on the evening and great to hear so much positive feedback about our school and the students.
