The Open Evening that took place on Wednesday 30 September was an extremely positive and successful evening. Large numbers of Year 6 parents and pupils visited the school and engaged in the vast amount of activities taking place. Parents and pupils were able to interact with large numbers of our students in all the different subjects and activities that take place within the school.

This ranged from: getting involved in sporting activities led by our Sports Captains; watching rehearsals for our performing arts production; making keyrings and getting involved in technology activities; taking part in experiments in Science; watching students act out ‘Macbeth’ in English, challenging themselves in Mathematics and using the interactive activities in the Global faculty.

Parental feedback was extremely positive and all the parents made reference to the excellent and well-presented students involved. The students were a credit to the school, themselves and their parents and carers. It is pleasing to see them so confident, polite, engaging and proud of their school and achievements. So, once again, a massive thank you to all those students who volunteered to help and did such a great job throughout the evening.
