Summer Reading Challenge 2017 are looking for volunteers aged 14 and over to help out in local libraries this summer.

Closing date now extended to Sunday 18 June.

Volunteering with Essex libraries is great to put on CVs as it shows key skills employers might be looking for – customer service skills, organisation, taking the initiative, attention to detail, working as part of a team to name but a few. And we are happy to be used as references as soon as volunteering is complete. In addition to this it a great way for young people to gain confidence and earn valuable life experience.

Volunteers have to be 14 years and over but other than that there are no other requirements or experience needed – all are welcome to apply!
